Job Description:

The company are currently seeking a candidate for the Test Engineer position in Tijuana, Mexico.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Continuous improvement of electrical test equipment used for Schneider Electric products.
  • Upgrade and replacement of aged electrical test systems.
  • Provide direct troubleshooting support and training for local plant resources.
  • Identify and implement improvement projects regarding various industrial manufacturing processes.
  • Productivity improvement will be highly regarded.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or comparable degree / experience combination.
  • Three to five years experience with industrial electrical control systems.
  • Specific experience with PLC systems and software.
  • Specific experience with LabView software control.
  • Advanced PC skills (i.e. hardware modification / replacement).
  • Specific experience with AutoCad software.
  • Excellent Spanish writing / speaking skills.
  • Solid English writing / speaking skills.

The candidate can expect travel throughout the country at 25% levels with some projects requiring slightly heavier percentages.
