Spring clamp system suits LED lighting applications
As an extension of its Terminal Blocks portfolio, FCI has announced the NQ series wire-to-board spring clamp system. The surface mount NQ series features a robust design, versatile modular system, secure electrical contacts, low wire insertion, high wire retention forces and a user-friendly lever latch engineered for effortless wire removal.
With a low profile 5.00mm height and compact industry-standard PCB design, the NQ spring clamp system is designed for LED devices and other compact applications, such as LED lighting modules. It is also suited for consumer electronics and factory automation equipment, as well as applications requiring easy-to-use wire insertion and extraction methods.
End to end stackable with 1-10 contact positions, the series is available in two contact pitch sizes: 2.5mm with a current rating of 5A (150V) and 4.0mm with a current rating of 7A (300V).
