Multi-Contact announce new Robifix quick action lock
Heavy duty connectors for robotic arms used in spot welding and other high power applications can be quickly secured and released with the new RobiFix-Lock from Multi-Contact. The rugged locking units are designed for the company's RobiFix electrical connectors for use in robot dresspacks.
Suitable for fixed welding robots, their ease of use makes them just as useful for on-the-fly locking of connectors in manual welding applications as well as for automatic tool changers.
RobiFix connectors accept single core cables and are becoming a new standard for the electrical connection of dresspacks. Compact and lightweight, they are easy to maintain and can cut assembly times by half.
The connectors have recently received UL recognition for both Canadian and US standards, and are one of the few connectors for the automotive industry to meet all the requirements for UL recognition.
