Binder has responded to increasing customer demand by supplying cut lengths of the same high quality cable as is used in the production of its own moulded connector/cable combinations. This allows customers to use the same PUR and PVC cables for terminating Binder’s extensive range of field-attachable connectors as are used on the pre-terminated over-moulded cables.
The cable is to be supplied for Binder’s sub-miniature, miniature and automation connectors.
The availability of these cables will be of particular value to customers working with drives, controls, sensors, automation equipment, industrial instrumentation and medical and security equipment. They are supplied with a wide variety of cores and cross sections to suit many applications and are boxed in 100m lengths. Both shielded and unshielded cables are UL approved and are available with 3, 4 and 5 cores in either black PUR or grey PVC. Shielded cables are also supplied in non-UL black PUR with 5, 6 and 8 cores.

The PUR cable has a resistance of 60Ω/km and an operating temperature range of -50°C to +80°C and the PVC version -20°C to +105°C.
