The Brad Ultra-Lock Circular Connector from Molex features a patented push-to-lock technology that provides a fast, simple and secure operator-independent connection that delivers unsurpassed performance. .Taking threaded connection systems to the next level, the connectors deliver increased productivity and cost savings over other competitive solutions, and greater performance and reliability not typically seen with traditional threaded connectors.

The connectors, which are now in stock at Mouser Electronics are designed to eliminate connector-related intermittent signals in the harshest of environments, resulting in reduced downtime and increased productivity.

The push-to-lock mechanical locking technology found in these connectors offers a simple, secure, operator-independent connection for fast mating and reduced installation time. Combined with a unique radial O-ring seal design similar to O-rings in hydraulic connectors, the Brad Ultra-Lock provides a more robust protection against water ingress in high-pressure wash-down environments, providing superior IP67/IP69K-rated protection and performance.

The Connectors are ideal for Class 2 power and network circuit applications, offering a maximum current per contact of 4 amps at 250V AC/DC. The receptacles accept either the Ultra-Lock or standard M12 threaded cordsets, making these connectors highly flexible for in systems using both formats, further expanding the possibilities of connection options. Each connector contact is also designed with gold over palladium/nickel plating, to provide a longer-lasting, high-performance electrical contact.

Offered in a variety of pin configurations, the Molex Brad Ultra-Lock Circular Connectors, now available at Mouser Electronics, provide an extensive assortment of cordsets and receptacles. The connectors are well-suited for a variety of commercial, industrial and telecommunication-based applications that require blind mating, high vibration or other switching and I/O-based connectivity. Target applications include commercial vehicle telematics, automation controls, automation equipment, food and beverage processing equipment, material handing devices, petrochemical complexes, and telecommunication base stations.
