IC sockets from high performance interconnect maker, Harwin, provide design flexibility and protect sensitive ICs during assembly. The sockets, which are suitable for use with industry-standard IC packages, mean that ICs are easily replaced if necessary; more they protects sensitive chips from high soldering temperatures, by allowing the device to be placed after soldering. Devices feature polarisation marking to simplify package assembly.
A range of sizes and styles is available. DIP sockets (dual row) are available in four row pitches – 7.62, 10.16, 15.24 and 22.86mm (0.3, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.9in). Single row socket strips are also available in 20 or 32 contact options for added flexibility - these can also be cropped to the number of contacts required. Both dual and single row styles utilise a four-finger Beryllium Copper contact clip for reliability, and are end and side stackable. Surface mount and through-hole PLCC sockets are also included.

All products available in RoHS and high-temperature format. Non RoHS versions are also available.
