The portfolio of D-Sub connectors from PROVERTHA expands to introduce variants for DIN rail assembly. For implementations in rack systems the company offers D-Sub variants with nine to 37 pins. The robust components provide safe and reliable methods for signal distribution in railway applications an industrial automation.

The quick and easy snap on assembly and the save grounding on the DIN rail is achieved by the solid DIN rail clip. The new D-Sub connectors are extremely robust based on the full metal hood. In addition, the PROVERTHA crimp flash system enables a complete 360° EMI shielding.

According to its strategy 'fast, compact and safe', PROVERTHA is focusing during development and manufacturing on high functional safety for high speed data and signal transmission, easy assembly and compact designs. The PROVERTHA products are ideal for reliable networks in high temperature, humid and other rough environments.

PROVERTHA has manufactured D-Sub connectors for more than 25 years. These connectors were the first products developed and manufactured in-house by PROVERTHA. The portfolio was consequently expanded over the last years. Meanwhile the company offers D-Sub connectors for PCB assembly with different termination variants: 90 and 180°C soldering, press fit and SMT. In addition, variants for cable assembly with IDC, crimp and manual soldering termination are also part of the product portfolio. Furthermore, PROVERTHA offers D-Sub connectors with mixed pins (signal and power), high-density, dual-port and filtered D-Subs. The product portfolio is rounded with D-Sub plastic hoods, 360° EMI/RFI D-Sub full metal hoods for railway and machinery applications demanding high EMC and the push-pull D-Sub locking system Quick Lock.
