HARTING has introduced a family of connector products for outdoor communications installations using the company's established Han Push-Pull and Han3A housings combined with a range of innovative fibre-optic and copper based inserts.

Connector inserts available include 48/300 V DC and 230/300 V AC power, single and dual LC duplex fibre, and hybrid devices combining RJ45 and power or LC duplex and power. The Han 3A inserts are available in straight or angled versions in metal or plastic.

The integration of the standard LC fibre-optic connectors for both single-mode and multi-mode configurations opens up new applications for secure data transmission over long distances and in harsh mechanical and electrically noisy environments. They represent an attractive alternative to
coaxial links in applications such as base station antenna installations.

The hybrid versions combine data (LC fibre or RJ 45) and power in one connector for easy installation and maintenance.

The HARTING connectors fulfil the requirements of IP 65/67 and offer robust construction with vibration protection to meet worldwide quality standards.
