Aerco has been appointed as a UK stockist for Saffron Walden-based, LPA Connection Systems and now holds a range of high-reliability plugs and sockets designed for use in rail infrastructure and other industrial applications.  LPA connectors are preferred products in many rail projects, including Crossrail with some having gained London Underground’s 1-085 approval.

The LPA connector range has a proven track record in varied applications in transport, mining, marine, military, infrastructure and light and heavy industrial environments.

The Aerco appointment will improve both delivery times and service levels to major projects where contract timescales can be tight and a quick and efficient delivery and service is paramount.

Aerco’s stockholding includes types that accommodate the lighting and control circuits for important rail infrastructure projects such as Crossrail, and London Underground’s sub surface upgrade and flanged socket versions that can be mounted directly on standard conduit BESA boxes.

LPA connectors are available in 2 to 12 pole versions, with ratings from 5 to 100A, with many bespoke variations available on request.  They have tough brass shells plated in electroless nickel, and screw terminal contacts for ease of installation.

Protection to IP66 is standard and all versions are halogen and cadmium free with excellent fire protection properties, ensuring low smoke and zero toxic emissions.
