Designed as a replacement for two circular connectors, the Cm2 series low voltage connectors from ITT Cannon provide maximum power in a minimum size package featuring 50% less weight than conventional circular connectors. Also 50% shorter than comparable circular connectors and benefiting from a low profile design, the devices are ideal for small servo motors requiring low power (up to 3A) in applications where space is at a premium such as industrial motion control, robotics, factory automation and material handling.

AVX Corporation has introduced new 5036 series secure, high reliability locking SIM connectors targeted primarily at the GSM market. The connectors employ a push/push card insertion method, giving a clear indication that card has been located properly, and feature Card Detection to show that a card is present. All devices in the 5036 series have a locking facility.

Servo motor connector for higher power requirements from ITT Cannon
Within the CmX range of servo motor connectors from ITT Cannon new Cm5 connectors feature the highest maximum current of 40A for motor flanges of up to 150x150mm. Designed as a replacement for two circular connectors, Cm5 series connectors benefit from a minimum size package and can be installed simply and at low cost. Compared to conventional circular connectors, the devices feature 50% less weight and require only half the length to house the same components. The low profile design makes the devices ideal for small servo motors requiring higher power in applications where space is at a premium such as industrial motion control, robotics, factory automation and material handling.
