Coaxial termination quick release flange is a time saver
The new AMCOL-2-7/8 coaxial termination from Link Microtek has been designed to safely absorb high-power microwave and RF signals in a wide variety of operational systems and test-and-measurement applications. The device was developed at Link’s Basingstoke facility. The new device operates over a specified frequency range of DC to 3.1GHz, with a power handling capability of up to 50W and a maximum return loss of 27dB.

Compact M12 bus connector for Siemens control system
PROVERTHA has revealed that it supplies a customized compact M12 bus connector, which has been designed specifically for Siemens’s new control system Sinumerik NCU 7x0.3. Meeting the requirements of the control system’s particular form factor, the new Profibus Compact 2 M12 bus connector joins the M12 Profibus lines with the NCU control unit’s D-Sub, X126 and X136 Profibus DB interfaces to connect other bus devices.
Connector range handles up to 5A current rating
The DF61 series from Hirose, which is now available from MSC offers advanced reliability for power supplies. It consists of headers, sockets and crimp contacts that have the capacity to handle up to 5A (amps) current rating. The connector range has been designed with space saving in mind; the two positions for example, only occupy 38mm² approximate board space.
NEPTUNE connectors now listed to UL1682
The NEPTUNE connectors from Amphenol are now listed to UL1682. With ratings from 30 A to 400 A at 600 V, the NEPTUNE connectors are offered in plugs, mount receptacles and inline receptacles.
