The popular 'WITEK' enclosures range, from TEKO, is now available with colour-coding rings in seven different colours. As a result, different versions of the electronics can be colour-coded for easy identification, or the coloured rings can be used to match existing brand colours.
The coloured rings are captured on the recessed sides of the ‘WITEK’ enclosures and are moulded in soft-touch TPU plastic in blue RAL 5010, yellow RAL 1018, green RAL 6024, Red RAL 3018, dark grey RAL 7016, light grey RAL 9018 and black RAL 9004.

The ‘WITEK’ enclosures have been designed for small portable electronic devices, especially those with cable connections. Typical applications will include cable nodes, testing devices, USB interfaces and peripherals, medical equipment and handheld instrument and RF remote control equipment.

‘WITEK’ enclosures are manufactured using the latest dual shot moulding technique combining ABS (UL94 HB) with ‘soft-touch’ TPU in two colour combinations of white/light grey and black/dark grey. The attractive modern design features a deep base section and shallow snap-on lid. Mounting pillars are provided in the base section for PCBs and assemblies.

The cases are offered in two standard sizes: 80 x 56 x 22 mm and 90 x 46 x 20 mm. The side walls are recessed on all four sides of the case to allow for easy location of the coloured rings, connectors, LEDs or other controls.

As a result, it is possible to simply drop a pre-assembled PCB, with the connectors already fitted, into the case. All that is required is a rectangular slot in the side wall, rather than a special cutout. Prices start from £7 for the enclosures.

TEKO can supply the ‘WITEK’ enclosures with additional holes for push-buttons, connectors and controls etc., plus silk-screen printed legends and logos. The cases can also be moulded in alternative colours.
