THIN Mini-ITX enclosure features smart fan control
A THIN Mini-ITX enclosure, which supports the latest Intel and AMD platforms for enhanced energy efficiency and graphics performance, has been introduced by Advantech. Featuring a single system fan design with smart fan control, the AIMB-T1000 supports up to 25W TDP SOC in a variety of configurations.
Measuring only 43mm in height, the enclosure features rich I/O interfaces, including six COM ports, six USB ports, three audio jacks and four antenna connectors. The device is suitable for medical, gaming, digital signage, KIOSK and automation applications. To prevent the power cord from accidentally detaching, the AIMB-T1000 features a lockable DC jack solution. The enclosure is easy to assemble and can be wall-mounted, Vesa-mounted or DIN-rail mounted.
The AIMB-T1000 is embedded with an AIMB low profile Mini-ITX motherboard, which comes with Advantech SUSIAccess. This provides remote device management and system recovery powered by Acronis, and system protection powered by McAfee; allowing users to easily monitor, configure, control and even recover multiple systems through a single console from a remote site.
The device, which is compatible with the company’s AIMB-215 and AIMB-225 AIMB Mini-ITX motherboards, is available now.
