Ohmite Miniature Heatsinks Launched From Success
Having achieved success in the medical equipment market with custom made parts which have applications in personal fibre optic theatre lighting used by surgeons, Ohmite have introduced two new miniature heatsink parts, the SV-LED-314E (14mm height) and the SV-LED-325E (25mm height) to address other opportunities where component size is a major consideration.
SV-LED heatsinks are high aspect ratio, configurable with mounting holes which can be added at little cost, available in other heights to order and offering thermal resistances of 9.0 and 5.6 degrees C per watt in their two standard heights, the SV heatsinks measure 0.85” in diameter and have a 0.39” diameter flat mounting surface.
In addition, the original customised heatsink, with 3 mounting holes and a milled-out concave region to house the LED is also available to all customers under part number SV-LED-214E (14mm high).
