Enclosures provide slots for SD cards & USB connectors
Sizes S and L have been added to OKW’s range of DATEC-COMPACT outdoor handheld enclosures, which already includes size M. For charging and data transfer, all sizes can be specified with or without gold-plated integrated 1-pole contacts, which are rated for less than 15A. Slots for SD cards and USB connectors are provided in versions with battery compartments.
The size S enclosure accommodates three 1.5V AAA, while the M and L accommodate two 1.5V AA. Manufactured from UV-stable ASA+PC-FR (UL 94 V-0), the DATEC-COMPACT enclosures are assembled using tamper-proof Torx T10 screws and rated to IP65. The size S enclosure measures 136x74x32mm, the M 172x92x39mm and the L 206x110x47mm. The DATEC-COMPACT outdoor handheld enclosures are suitable for mobile applications in harsh environments, including data recording and transfer, measuring and control and stock and sales logging.
Specified with or without gold-plated spring, accessories such as desk stations and wall holders are available. A Torx T10 screwdriver, self-tapping screws (ø 2.5x6mm PZ1) for mounting PCBs, non-slip pads (ø 6.5mm), spare contacts and nickel-plated battery clips are also optionally available. OKW can provide CNC milling and drilling, printing or engraving of legends and logos, special finishes, keypads and assembly.
Available in Off-white (RAL 9002) and Lava Grey colours, the enclosures are priced from £22.
