Enclosures are IP65-rated for outdoor electronics
Suited for mobile data recording and transfer, measuring and control, stock and sales logging and digital control technology, OKW has unveiled a range of IP65 handheld enclosures for outdoor electronics. The DATEC-COMPACT range is the company's first to offer integrated contacts as an option for charging and data transfer.
Comprising enclosures, desk stations and wall holders, the range is manufactured from an ASA+PC-FR blend (UL 94 V-0), increasing strength and UV stability, and assembled with tamperproof Torx T10 screws. The top section features a large recess to accommodate a membrane keypad or product label.
Currently, they are available in a 172x92x39mm size and can be specified in two standard colours: Off-white (RAL 9002) and Lava Grey. Options include a compartment for three 1.5V AA batteries.
Accessories include a battery contact kit, male contacts (for the desk station), female contacts (for the case), non-slip feet, PCB screws and a Torx T10 screwdriver.
Customisation options also include CNC milling and drilling,EMC shielding, silk-screen and tampo printing of legends and logos plus assembly of components.
