The range is available now in four standard sizes with external dimensions from 155 x 150 x 37 mm to 200 x 330 x 48 mm. The central control panel is recessed by 2.5 mm to suit different types of membrane keypad or product label. DIATEC enclosures are moulded in ABS (UL 94 HB) in two standard colours, lava grey and off-white. Other colours can be moulded or painted on request.

Two fixing screws hidden on the underside assemble the top and base parts of the new XS models; whereas the S, M and L models consist of four moulded parts: top, base and two contoured side panels that are snapped into place. All of the assembly and mounting screws are hidden by side panels, giving a clean and secure appearance.

The power cables can be positioned in the ends for desktop applications; but when used in remote locations or as a portable units, the DIATEC enclosures can be fitted with batteries. Two 1.5V AA cells, or a single 9V cell (S,M & L) can accommodated under the side panels.

The interior of the three larger enclosures can be sub-divided using the accessory slot-in panels. Screw pillars are moulded in the top and base parts of all models for mounting the PCBs and electronic assemblies.

Prices for the new models start at £21. Customising options for DIATEC include CNC milling and drilling of holes and cut outs, silk-screen and tampo printing of legends and logos, EMC shielding and assembly of components.
