Ultra-slim Mini-ITX motherboard offers low power consumption

Expanding the company's portfolio of Mini-ITX motherboards, BVM has introduced the ASRock IMB-186. Offering a low profile with a height of just 20mm and low power consumption with a 9-19VDC input, the industrial motherboard enables fanless operation when installed in slimline Panel PCs, digital signage and other space limited applications.

The Mini-ITX motherboard is available with 4th generation Haswell ULT i5 4300U and i7 4650U quad core processors and the Celeron 2980U dual core device. Operating over a temperature range from 0 to +60°C, the industrial unit features two DIMM sockets supporting up to 16GB of 1600MHz SDRAM.

Featuring the multi-display capability for up to three screens, integrated Intel HD graphics share a VGA/HDMI output and a 24-bit dual channel LVDS is available while resolutions up to 4096 x 2304 are supported in HDMI 1.4a mode.

The IMB-186 facilitates mass storage and an external storage interface with two SATA3 6.0Gb/s interfaces, a shared Mini-PCIe full size mSATA slot and a half size Mini-PCIe slot. Other interfaces include two Gigabit Ethernet ports, four USB 3.0 and six USB 2.0 ports, six serial ports and an 8-bit GPIO interface. A TPM (Trusted Platform Module) header is also provided.
