Designed for PCB magazine racks, the ezCLIP universal stop clip has been released by Count On Tools. The device provides manufacturers who manually load/unload PCB magazine racks a way in which to simply distinguish required spacing between boards, while preventing damage to boards with taller components.

Currently, manufacturers must manually check each board when loading the PCB magazine rack to ensure that they are spaced correctly. Components critical to the board’s operation can be damaged if racks are spaced incorrectly. The ezCLIP on the PCB magazine rack allows manufacturers to quickly identify which card guides can be skipped, enabling faster set-up times for the production run and swift manual loading and unloading of the boards during assembly, reflow, rework and inspection.

Manufactured from high quality spring steel, the device is coated for long life use. The ezCLIP, which can be installed by simply pushing the clip over the PCB magazine rack slot that needs to be skipped, features a bright finish to provide manufacturers with a visual cue that the card guide slot is not available.

According to Count On Tools, the ezCLIP offers the lowest cost option for safely marking board spacing on PCB magazine racks on the market. The ezCLIP is available in both single and double lane versions. The single lane version allows users to disable 25 lanes, while the double lane version allows users to disable 50 lanes. The single lane version is sold in packs of 50 for $100.00, and the double lane version is sold in packs of 50 for $150.00.
