Based on the Intel Braswell – M/D processor family, the EBM-BSW 5.25” SBC has been introduced by Avalue Technology. The Intel Pentium/Celeron processor N3000 family are based on Intel’s 14nm architecture for entry systems, which provides improved graphics performance, battery life, I/O support and thermal performance than previous generations.

The device supports one 204-pin DDR3L 1600 MTs SODIMM system memory with up to 8GB capacity. I/O interfaces include three RS-232, two RS-232/ 422/ 485, one SATA III, two Mini PCIe, four USB 3.0, three USB 2.0 and 16-bit GPIO. The SBC features two RealTek RTL8119 that enable dual Gigabit Ethernet, and one Realtek ALC233 HD codec, which provides an audio interface. Dual displays are supported with HDMI (1920x1080 at 30Hz) and LVDS (1920x1200 at 60Hz). A +12-26V power range is supported by the EBM-BSW.

Avalue’s Braswell platform provides users with improved graphics throughput, display resolutions, media codecs and media acceleration. Featuring less voltage rails, routing and power management complexities compared to previous generation, the device reduces BOM costs.
