There are still a lot of jobs that are being lost through either replacing manual skills with automated technology, or financial cutbacks. However, there is one sector that still faces a recruitment struggle. Technology has become the industry that all recruitment firms are wishing to avoid because it is becoming increasingly difficult to find people with the right skillset to fill the roles that are emerging in the technology industry.

Technology has advanced quickly, and the education system is struggling to keep up. While universities attempt to teach their students the current practices, the technology industry continues to advance, leaving students and teachers in the dark. Due to the advancements, more jobs lie within the technology industry, from supporting app developments to teaching students the basic of web coding. The demand for IT roles has rocketed, and there currently aren’t enough highly skilled people to fill the specialist roles.

The US Government committed a $19bn investment into cyber security last year, and as such, there is a demand for people to fill these extra jobs. From educating people on cyber crime and developing processes for businesses, to working for the police trying to catch the criminals. It is of huge importance to try and stop cybercrime, and therefore it is of huge importance that there are people to fill those specialist technology roles.

Due to the rise in cybercriminals, there is an increase in data retrieval specialist jobs, where they can help recover data through ssd data recovery. This allows you to ignore the ransoms of criminals, or simply retrieve that document you accidently deleted.

If we look at the way people perform menial tasks, the evidence of our world becoming more technology based stacks up. Instead of stepping into a supermarket or store, people will order their shopping on the internet and pay for delivery to their doorstep. Then, next week, they can reorder the same shopping list. The online shopping process requires technological support, from a team of website developers to regular content updates from a content team.

As children become accustomed to technology from a young age, their lives begin to revolve around the latest gadget gracing our screens and store fronts. However, being brought up around technology means they may have a better understanding of learning and picking up the skills the industry are currently asking for. As they stay in the loop for their own personal gain, they could potentially have firmer grasps on where the industry plans to develop in the future.

The education of the younger generation has never been more important. If you are about to enter university, or are deciding which field to launch your career in, make sure to research the market and its current job availability. If university is not for you, then many companies now offer apprenticeships for the younger generation which comes hand-in-hand with on-the-job training, and the potential to expand into a full-time position.

The technology industry will always need a pair of extra, highly qualified hands to help. Therefore, make sure you are well qualified and in the running for a high paying salary and ever-evolving job prospects.
