How artificial intelligence is changing the face of art

We’re constantly studying the way AI is changing the business industry or transforming health care or construction, but one less than explored area is how machines are changing the visual arts.

Just last October, a machine-generated painting was auctioned off for the first time ever, and it sold for over $400,000. The interest is undoubtedly there, but there are still a ton of questions that surround AI’s impact on the arts.

And while AI artists champion the potential of collaborating and utilising machines to create new forms of art, critics feel it is stifling to creativity.
