SCHURTER's new power entry module series DD21 and DD22 have been designed especially for PCB mounting. The DD21 product is equipped with multiple functions including appliance connector, switching and fusing, while the DD22 series adds either standard or medical filter. Besides their maximum functionality, the compactness of these products also makes them ideally suited for use in equipment with low headroom. Particularly in the IT and telecom infrastructures, where equipment is continually downsized, these unique new products can help in solving space problems.
The 2-pole switch – dimensioned for inrush current peaks of 100A capacitive for 3ms – is available in either an illuminated or non-illuminated arrangement. The series can be equipped with 1- or 2-pole fuse holders for 5x20 fuse-links. The DD21 is rated for currents at 8 and 10A; the DD22 series for 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 A.

The power entry modules fulfill IEC/EN 60950 requirements, and are ENEC and UL/CSA approved up to 10A 250VAC 50Hz and 8A 125/250VAC 60Hz respectively. On request we can offer special configurations such as protection class II arrangements or filters with special X1 capacitors for increased dielectric strength.

Mounting takes place using M3 or self-tapping screws onto a PCB or on the rear of the housing with M3 screws.
