Nihon Superior Co. Ltd., a supplier of advanced soldering materials to the global market, announces that it has been awarded a 2011 NPI Award in the category of Cored Wire for its SN100C (044) Flux-Cored Solder Wire. The award was presented to the company and accepted by the company’s President, Tetsuro Nishimura, during a Tuesday, April 12, 2011 ceremony that took place at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center in Las Vegas during IPC APEX 2011.
SN100C (044) completely halogen-free high performance flux-cored solder wire makes it possible to achieve a high first pass yield because of its excellent wetting and spread, while providing an approximately 30 percent faster soldering speed in manual soldering when compared to previously available completely halogen-free flux-cored solder wire.

Premiering in 2008, the NPI Awards program is an annual celebration of product excellence in electronics surface mount assembly. Premier products based on the finest examples of creative advancement in technology are chosen by a distinguished panel of industry experts.
