The office is led by John Jensen, Chairman, who has more than 40 years of overall business and management experience including more than eight years focussing on delivering tailored computing solutions to the U.S. healthcare market. JAOtech’s business development team is led by Ian Davison, Vice President and Rich Purcell, Sales Manager. The customer support group at JAOtech Corporation is managed by Joe Douaihy, Operations Director.

The new U.S. location is one of four offices globally from which JAOtech manages its business with global headquarters located just outside London, United Kingdom.

JAOtech’s success to date is attributable to its ability to deliver space and energy efficient embedded medical computers by the bedside in a broad number of applications from electronic medical records to patient education/entertainment. Its products are used by healthcare clinicians, administrators and patients alike. All of the company’s terminals feature medical grade certifications such as UL60601 with Novaron anti-bacterial plastics that can be cleaned easily with hospital detergents. In addition, they feature a seamless design which prevents liquids or dirt from entering its terminals.

JAOtech terminals are offered in four screen sizes: the 18.5” Arie, the 17” Obie, the 15.4” widescreen Jima and the 15” Zivo. The units are offered with a full package of accessories such as VoIP telephones, Bluetooth™, USB and 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless options as well as high resolution video cameras. In addition, JAOtech terminals support such accessories as Smart Card readers, magnetic stripe readers and RFID as well as ultrasound receivers and bar-code scanners.

As well as the Smart Terminals, JAOtech offers complete ergonomic solutions incorporating wall mounts, articulated arms tailored to the terminals specifications and medical grade wireless keyboards.
