Keypads, keyboards stand up to rough environments

Foremost Electronics has sealed a distribution deal with Storm Interface, manufacturer of heavy duty keypads, keyboards and custom computer interface devices. All Storm products are built to withstand rough use and abuse in unattended public and industrial applications. The Storm range ofself-contained, Outdoor Rated Access Control Keypads is made up of two models.

The AXS StrikeMaster is a self-contained keypad and controller for electrically operated locks and strikes.

Standard features include up to 50 user programmable 4, 5 or 6 digit PIN codes, one or two door control, anti-tamper alarm, forced door alarm and PIN code entered under duress alarm, timed release or latched door option for each PIN code, timed lock out for repeated invalid code input, remote exit switch facility, all weather resistance, LED and audible tone status indication and are available in a variety of build styles and quick and easy to install.

The StrikeMaster ES keypad access control system for installations requiring elevated security levels is supplied with a StrikeMaster keypad (above) plus a separate, remotely secured electronic control module.

The control module, along with a dedicated high speciation power supply, is contained within a tamper alarmed steel enclosure designed to be located within the secured building.
