HEITEC horizons widen with Wakefield-Vette pact

HEITEC’s Electronic Business Unit has entered a strategic partnership with Wakefield-Vette to expand its business in North America. "With the newly signed partnership with Wakefield-Vette/USA in place, HEITEC will now be able to serve new and important markets, particularly in North America," said Roland Chochoiek, Executive Vice President Business Unit Electronics at HEITEC.

Wakefield-Vette, a leader in the field of thermal management solutions, has entered this exclusive strategic partnership with HEITEC in order to distribute the components of the product line for industrial enclosure technology and system platforms to the North American market and to offer the related services.

“By complementing our portfolio with HEITEC’s housing and system technology, we further enhance our overall portfolio and are now able to offer the broadest and best-in-class array of solutions for packaging and thermal management”, said David Stone (pictured), Vice-President Sales and Marketing at Wakefield-Vette.

With the full product adaptation and support by the Wakefield-Vette subsidiaries in North-Carolina and New Hampshire, a broad line of standard products combined with rapid modification and integration can be offered to the US customers. The North American-wide distribution is secured via Wakefield-Vette’s comprehensive sales network.

The deal comes five years after HEITEC took over the electronics packaging systems line from Rittal,an extensive product portfolio that has been successfully enhanced, manufactured and marketed predominantly in Europe.
