Mirics™ has teamed up with VERTEX3D to launch VTX3D HD6670/6570 Digital Streamer Edition, enabling graphics card users to watch free digital TV on their PCs.
The Digital Streamer version of the HD6670/6570 adds Mirics FlexiTV software and a built in TV-tuner to this powerful graphics product. When connected to a standard TV antenna, it will receive and decode all the local free-to-air TV and radio stations.

Using the PC’s Window Media Center with Mirics FlexiTV, the user can watch, record, save and playback programs whenever they want. In addition the VTX3D Digital Streamer Edition enables the PC to become a streaming server and users can watch all of their home TV programs anywhere in the world on their PC in HD/SD quality.

Said Mirics CEO Simon Atkinson: “The Digital Streamer Edition, using FlexiTV technology, gives viewers an opportunity to watch the programs of their choice in HD/SD quality on their PC or client device.

It’s another step towards meeting the consumer demand for the best quality television wherever and whenever they want it.”

The VTX3D HD6670 Digital Streamer Edition supports 1GB of the latest GDDR5 memory and is clocked at 800 MHz core speed and 1000MHz memory speed.

The HD6570 Digital Streamer Edition is fitted with 1GB of DDR3 memory and clocked at 650MHz core speed and 667MHzx2 memory speed.

The graphics cards decode TV signals smoothly and compress the stream for trouble free viewing on the PC or remotely over the internet. So, there are no limits on the viewing of programs wherever you are, and no additional licenses, subscriptions or fees needed.
