Financial pressures are forcing many companies to keep old legacy systems going, rather than buying new equipment. In response to this AWS has seen further growth in its dedicated repair centre, where it supports not only its mainstream customers with warranty, repair and overhaul, but also third party repairs.

AWS has electronics and engineering experience that encompasses the whole product lifecycle from concept, design and prototyping, through production to end of life support.

The AWS Maintenance Repair & Overhaul Centre offers:

  • A dedicated repair facility with engineers in diagnostic, test and repair.
  • Reverse engineering – AWS is able to re-engineer solutions where replacement components are not available or original design data has been lost.
  • Capability to repair defunct original manufacturer (OEM) equipment.
  • Obsolescence management.

Paul Deehan, CEO of AWS, commented: “Our whole life support strategy epitomises the Group’s dedication to customer service and technical excellence. Our skills in electronic engineering, procurement and project management that serve us well in the supply of electronics for production are now proving valuable at a time when some companies have restricted capital spending. AWS can provide effective solutions for lifetime asset management.”
