electronica 2010 CEO Round Table: What lessons has our industry learned from the crisis?

“What lessons have we learned from the crisis?” will be the title of the podium discussion which will be held from 11.00 to 12.00 on 9 November 2010 during the electronica Forum in Hall A3, Stand 242. The event will be chaired by Kilian Reichert, a freelance journalist. The participants in the podium discussion will be Peter Bauer, CEO of Infineon Technologies AG, Rich Beyer, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Freescale Semiconductor, Inc., Carlo Bozzotti, President and CEO of STMicroelectronics, and Rick Clemmer, President and CEO of NXP Semiconductors, who will answer questions relating to economic developments over the last few years.

The discussion will examine the questions of how the crisis in 2008/09 differs from that in 2001, the extent to which relations with suppliers have changed, the role now being played by foundries, the way in which new investments are evaluated and what consequences and risks arise through the, at times, long delivery times and allocations.

The audience will undoubtedly be very keen to hear how the four semiconductor manufacturers have equipped themselves for the future.

The CEO Round Table during electronica 2010 will take place on Stand 242 in Hall A3 at the electronica Forum and will be open to all participants in electronica 2010. The trade fair will be held at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre from 9 to 12 November 2010.
