Digivision selects Microtune's TV Tuner
Microtune announced that Shanghai Digivision Ltd., a leading company in the Chinese digital television (DTV) industry, selected the Microtune MT2066 single-chip broadband tuner for use in its advanced high-definition cable set-top boxes for the Chinese market.

In the Digivision design, the MT2066 low-power (3.3 V) broadband tuner is being used in a high definition dual-tuner architecture that benefits from the MT2066 tuner's miniature 36mm2 size. Supporting the DVB-C standard, the MT2066 enables a rapid universal design for set-top boxes in the challenging Chinese cable TV environment.
