Conrad strengthens MCU development tools offering

Conrad Business Supplies is now an authorised distributor of hardware and software development solutions from MikroElektronika for six different MCU architectures. The agreement means that Conrad customers will now have access to a wide range of development boards, accessory boards, programmers/debuggers, compilers and books for PIC, dsPIC30/33, PIC24, PIC32, AVR, 8051, PSoC, TIVA and STM32 ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.

Among MikroElektronika's most recent additions to its compiler range are mikroC, mikroBasic and mikroPascal for ARM version 4.5.0, offering support for 151 new STM32 MCUs, including ARM Cortex-M0, M0+, M3 and M4. Also supported are MCUs from the ultralow power L0 and L1 series, the mainstream F0 and F3 series and the high performance F4 series. 

Conrad is also now offering MikroElektronika's range of click boards, including 100 small extension boards with the mikroBUS standard socket which enables functionality to be added to development boards with minimal hardware configuration. The click board range includes sensors, displays, audio, motor control, communication, and fibre optics.
