Connectivity solutions for ATC applications
Available to view and download online as an e-paper, HUBER+SUHNER has published a brochure detailing the company’s product offering for air traffic control (ATC) applications. This portfolio includes a variety of cables, cable assemblies, connectors and lightning protectors designed for use in navigational aids and radar equipment.
Products featured include interconnection solutions including cable assemblies for ground to air communications systems, omnidirectional radio, marker and non-directional beacons, instrument landing systems and distance measuring equipment.
HUBER+SUHNER developed its LISCAR cable assemblies specifically for applications where low VSWR and low attenuation combined with low intermodulation products are required. LISCAR cable assemblies are built in a controlled assembly environment using the company’s corrugated SUCOFEED cables and low intermodulation connectors and provide optimal performance up to 4GHz.
Many of HUBER+SUHNER’s connector products are used in a variety of radar-based applications including surface movement, weather surveillance and primary and secondary systems.
One of the most innovative solutions available is EACON, a simple and easy way to assemble microwave cables and connectors in the field without compromising performance. These are light, waterproof and built to handle frequencies up to 18GHz.
