Compact PFC AC/DC power supply are compact for industry
Compact AC/DC power supplies from MicroPower Direct are specifically designed to provide robust performance, high power density, safety approvals and compact size required by a range of applications in a variety of industries.
There are eight standard models in the MPU-240S series, operating from universal inputs of 90 to 264V AC, providing tightly regulated single outputs. Outputs are factory set to 5.0, 12, 15, 24, 28, 32, 38 or 48V DC. Standard features include EN 55032 class B emissions, power factor correction, 4,000V AC I/O isolation (5,656V DC), and 20mS hold-up time (with cover). All models are protected for over-load, over-voltage and short-circuit faults. The MTBF is greater than 50kHours (per MIL HDBK 217F). All models are approved to UL 60950.
The power supplies are packaged in a compact 6.0 x 4.18 x 1.38-inch (152 x 102 x 35mm) U-Chassis. Three I/O connector types are available for all models, terminal blocks, Molex, or clamp blocks. There is also a “finger safe” cover available.
Each model is specified for operation over the 0 to +70°C (ambient) temperature range.
The series can be use used in commercial and industrial applications where a compact, cost-conscious power performance is required.
