Cogiscan is pleased to announce that it has teamed up with SmartRep for sales and support throughout Germany and other German-speaking regions. SmartRep is well-known for its deep understanding of the challenges facing electronic manufacturers.  By partnering with SmartRep, which offers both sales and technical support capabilities throughout the German-speaking territory, Cogiscan expects to be able to provide local coverage in a more thorough and responsive manner.

“With the emergence of Industry 4.0, we regard the German-speaking region as an extremely important and dynamic market,” says Mitch DeCaire, Cogiscan Channel Sales Manager. “We already have an experienced team of application engineers based in Germany, so we wanted to find a local sales and service partner who could complement our internal resources in a value-added manner. We  chose SmartRep based on their depth of coverage and solid reputation within the industry. They will play a key role in supporting our customers and growing our business.”

“SmartRep offers systems for PCB assembly – from single systems to whole line solutions,” explains Andreas Keller, SmartRep’s managing director.“We work together with different technology and world market leaders. In cooperating with Cogiscan, we can offer our customers a highly demanded additional benefit that is becoming more and more important for Industry 4.0:  the connectivity of different systems and their integration in existing MES and/or ERP-systems.”

SmartRep offers a perfect combination of sales and service. A major role is the expert advice and technical application. Customers benefit from years of experience and cross-system process know-how. Cogiscan expands the product portfolio with an exciting software component, which will advance German electronic manufacturing in terms of traceability, material control and real-time monitoring.
