NextG-Com has developed a low-cost LTE protocol test platform on host compliant to 3GPP Release 11 specification. NextG-Com XANTHUS 203 tests the integrated LTE software stack for user equipment (UE) before it is ported onto a hardware platform. Incorporating an easy debugging environment, it will reduce the time and effort that would otherwise be spent on investigating and solving complex issues on a hardware platform

XANTHUS 203 also removes dependency on the availability of hardware and RF to test the protocol stack components and provides a powerful component for continuous integration strategy and non-regression testing.

XANTHUS 203 is a protocol conformance test framework that allows the execution of TTCN3 36.523 Test Cases as published by ETSI. It has been designed within the current NextG-Com ALPS LTE product development programme.

XANTHUS 203 will incorporate the complete 3GPP LTE conformance test suite, which will allow considerable cost savings compared with traditional host and equipment protocol conformance solutions. The platform easily supports different levels of abstraction (Layer1, MAC, RRC), depending upon requirements and project integration phase.
