A 30 MHz two-channel digital storage oscilloscope from Tektronix is now being stocked by distributor Conrad Business Supplies. The TBS1032B - exclusively available at Conrad - is aimed at customers in the educational, automotive and industrial sectors who are looking for a low bandwidth solution which delivers excellent value, without compromising on features.

This  instrument will join Conrad’s selection of over 350 digital oscilloscopes from Tektronix and many other leading brands.

The oscilloscope offers numerous useful features as standard, including two USB ports, for data storage and PC connectivity, 34 automated measurement settings, an integrated frequency counter, plus limit testing and data logging functions.

A large 7" WVGA (800 x 480) active TFT colour display, and context-sensitive help menu provide the user with an intuitive and simple to use interface for the device.

In addition to these conventional features, the TBS1032B also offers extensive monitoring and analysis functions, for identifying intermittent faults, plus a high resolution ‘pan and zoom’ capability.

Tektronix’s TrendPlot function helps users find faults by plotting measurement values over long periods of time, while the ‘pan and zoom’ enables the user to see even greater signal detail, at up to ten times normal resolution.

Measuring only 124mm deep and weighing just 2kg, the oscilloscope is both compact and lightweight.

Benedikt Sehr, Product Manager, Category Business Supplies commented: “The introduction of this exclusive product from Tektronix offers our customers an affordable and simple to use device, with a number of time-saving data analysis features. There are now nearly 16,000 test and measurement devices and accessories in the Conrad range. We are confident that we have a product suited for nearly any application and budget.”
