TESEQ (formerly Schaffner Test Systems), the advanced EMC test solutions supplier, has consolidated all of its EMC calibration and repair services in a single new facility at Wokingham. Teseq have installed a new screened room antenna calibration facility and carried out a full refurbishment of their original one. TESEQ no longer use an OATS site for antenna calibration, a change in methodology made possible by having over 20 years of experience and historic test data. Customers will find indoor testing more convenient and efficient as it offers all weather operation, reducing test times and cost.
TESEQ has been awarded UKAS approval for both testing at its own facility and also for on site conducted immunity calibrations carried out at customers own premises. This is an increasingly popular service with customers needing to increase equipment availability.

Paul Dixon, Managing Director of TESEQ comments,”Our expanded test facility now addresses all the needs of professional EMC test engineers. As the acknowledged worldwide EMC experts, both in test equipment design and manufacture and as a provider of EMC test services, Teseq offers its customers a number of advantages over using conventional “stand alone” test facilities.”

System designers and OEM manufacturers will benefit from working with TESEQ who can now provide the widest offering of traceable and UKAS test parameters for EMC available in the UK, calibration of harmonics & flicker in line with the requirements of EN61000-3-2 & -3 etc, competitive pricing and fast turnaround times. Teseq also offer a full repair and calibration service to support Schaffner/TESEQ test equipment as well as other manufacturers’ EMC test equipment
