Appearing for a second time at Aerospace 09, the premier aerospace design, test and manufacturing show, Intepro Systems will be demonstrating its new IBT700 aircraft battery test system on stand – B144.
Intepro is acknowledged as leader in the field of power electronics testing, with over 25 years experience of providing high performance power supply and electronics test systems for aerospace, military, telecommunications, OEM power supply, power components and related industries.

The new Intepro IBT700 aircraft battery test system has been developed to characterise and reliability check battery packs used in aircraft control and instrumentation systems. Cyclic charge and discharge of Lithium Ion batteries is critical for their safe and reliable operation, especially when used in fail-safe installations in aircraft. The Intepro IBT700 aircraft battery test system has been primarily designed to test batteries by performing charge and discharge cycles while monitoring in real time key battery parameters including, overall battery voltage, individual cell voltage and internal temperature (to prevent thermal runaway).

The system may be supplied as single or dual modules for test cycling one or two batteries. Test results may be logged for future analysis and the system can also perform data transmission and interrogation of intelligent systems.

Intepro have a highly specialised engineering team with world wide experience in delivering custom and turnkey test solutions, integrating the latest technological innovations to the test process such as, dual well fixturing, machine vision and automated handling.

Their recent agreement to cooperate with EADS Test & Services Germany, an integrated activity of EADS DS, will provide enhanced pre and post sales support for all of Intepro’s comprehensive product portfolio of power test solutions. And will also provide local customers with application and first line service support. The initial cooperation will cover markets in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Benelux countries.
