A revised version of the AT/10 miniature triaxial IEPE accelerometer has been launched by DJB Instruments UK. Using the industry standard ¼-28 UNF single 4-pin connector the AT/10 has been through a redesign to enable it to be produced to the full high temperature specification of 185°C.

Weighing 6.9 grams the Titanium bodied triaxial accelerometer is available with sensitivities up to 100mV/g and has a fully welded construction.

The AT/10 utilises three fully independent ceramic KONIC Shear sensing elements each with its own mass, this allows for much improved reliability and stability when compared to single ceramic designs, it also provides the perfect base for the integration of the high tempertaure electronics used to achieve a peak operating temperature of 185°C.

DJB’s Managing Director, Neill Ovenden, commented, “The integration of the high temperature electronics and the three independent sensing elements has been a challenge in such a compact accelerometer. We are close to launching a higher peak temperature for all our IEPE accels of 200°C so it was important that we factored this next step into the scope of the AT/10 re-development.’

The AT/10 is available to order now in standard or high temperature form, sensitivities up to 100mV/g are available and associated cables are made to customer requirements at any length.
