The RFP Smart Fieldmeter Kits contain all that is needed for making calibrated RF field strength measurements from 0.2MHz to 18GHz, including a calibrated field strength meter, a calibrated Omnifield Antenna, and a 6in table tripod. Designed for budget-conscious RF engineers, the RFP Smart Fieldmeters, available from Saelig, combine the major features of professional quality test equipment with the convenience and simplicity of a multimeter.

They can be used for the evaluation and measurements of electromagnetic fields from AM/FM/TV and GSM cellular stations, transmitters and CB radios, cellphones, microwave ovens, RFID antennas, industrial, scientific and medical equipment, etc. or in GTEM cells for the EMC testing of consumer, industrial, automotive and military products. Multimode (Average, Peak and Pulse) operation allows monitoring of steady state as well as modulated fields. The kits' portable lightweight design, long lasting battery, and detachable calibrated isotropic probe provide convenient field operation.

Remote output monitoring can be used for data analysis, storage, and fast response closed-loop control.

The table top tripod can be used for positioning the antenna probe and facilitates EM field measurements in a laboratory setting. Making precision EM field measurements simple, these kits are supplied in a robust hard-shell carrying case.

Three versions are available: Set 1 and Set 2 come with the RFP-04 Digital RF Meter, while Set 3 features the RFP-05M Graphical RF Meter. Set 1 covers the range 0.2MHz - 3GHz for field strength measurements of 0.2 - 600V/m; Set 2 and Set 3 cover the range 3.0 MHz - 18.0GHz for field strength measurements of 0.8 - 800V/m.

Applications include RF safety, environmental RF monitoring, RF regulatory certification, EMC precompliance testing, etc.
