New Inductive Proximity Switches Announced By GREATECS

New inductive proximity switches expand the wide range of GREATECS. The sensors stand out through their high quality and attractive price level. The proximity switches are available in different materials such as plastic, aluminium, stainless steel and copper nickel. The main applications for these sensors are industrial and automation technology.
The sensors are generating a switching signal at approximation depending on the selected types which are available in several materials and defined distances. The inductive proximity switches respond to ferromagnetic metal as well as to non-magnetic metal objects. The sensor detects these objects in a range from 2mm up to 10mm. This is a 5 times longer range than standard versions. The proximity switches offer a mechanical protection according to IP67 and a high resistance to strong magnetic fields. For these reasons it is possible to use the components also in welding system applications. There is no performance decrement in a non-ferrous environment such as aluminium and brass.

The sensing range can be set at all series with a trimmer. Our proximity switches series contain standard sizes from 7x7mm up to 210x210mm which can be used as drop-in alternatives. The series can save large costs and are available in short delivery times.

The proximity sensor range covers almost the entire field of applications in processes of position detection and counting function. Specifications, samples and production quantities are available now at GREATECS.
