UltraVolt announced today the acquisition of three proportional high-voltage power supply lines from LHV Power. These new proportional product offerings provide a low-cost solution for nominal performance applications.
UltraVolt’s new GMA Series of proportional, low-voltage to high-voltage converters includes 8 models with outputs from 10V to 100VDC through 300V to 3kV at 0 to 1.5W of output power in 29cc. The GMA Series can be ordered with output isolation of 100V. UltraVolt’s new PM Series (LHV Power’s A Series) of proportional high-voltage converters has 5 models with outputs from 400V to 1kV through 1.6kV to 4kV at 0 to 3W of output power in 46cc. Output isolation of 2kV is standard on the PM Series. Finally, UltraVolt’s new PMT Series (LHV Power’s B Series) of proportional photomultiplier-tube power supplies provides 0 to 1.25kV in 50cc and features an integrated PMT socket.

Typical applications for these series include drivers for pulse generators, PZT actuators, MEMS devices, laser- and electro-optic modulation, ink jet printing, and electrophoresis. Applications in bias supplies for general purposes include detectors, Geiger-Mueller tubes, avalanche photo diodes, photomultiplier tubes, silicon detectors, beam deflection, and focusing in mass spectrometry (ion beam) and electron beams.

UltraVolt is excited to expand its microsize high-voltage power supply product offering for nominal performance requirements, said James Morrison, CEO and Co-Founder. These new devices enable designers to use UltraVolt products in lower cost equipment applications – another way we continue Making High Voltage Easier.
