UNIPOWER just announced the SGH 3000 Series of 650W, 12V Front-Ends designed to satisfy the latest networking and datacom applications that demand smaller size, lower energy consumption and a significantly reduced cost of ownership. • High Efficiency – 92% • 12VDC and 5VSB Outputs • 1U High
The SGH Series continues UNIPOWER’s leadership in high efficiency, high density, hot swap power sources with a power density of 17.5W/in³ and efficiency levels to 92%.
Featuring a universal AC input (90 to 264VAC) with minimum power factor greater than 0.95, they provide 12VDC and a 5V standby outputs from a 1U high package. N+N redundant operation is achieved with active load sharing and ORing protection circuitry. A Class B EMI filter is also standard.
In addition, the new Front-Ends incorporate both analog and PMBus communication for status control of each power module as well as LED indicators and audible alarms to communicate status or fault conditions.
