AXIOMTEK announced iCON-34080/34080L unmanaged PoE Ethernet switches can power IEEE802.3af compliant powered devices (PD) and transmit data simultaneously, which saves wiring costs and especially suits for outdoor applications such as IP video surveillance, APs, industrial controls and intercoms. The iCON-34080/34080L classified as power sourcing equipment with the flexibility of eight Ethernet ports, supporting IEEE 802.3af compliant Power-over-Ethernet on ports 1 to 4 that are capable of supplying up to 15.4W each. Additionally, each port can automatically detect when PoE compliant devices are attached. The iCON-34080/34080L switches feature two redundant 48VDC power inputs, wide-temperature range of -40˚C to +75˚C (iCON-34080), IP30 aluminum compact-housing, and up to two fiber connections to give users the most reliable and flexible networking solutions applied in limited-space and harsh environments.
iCON-34080 Series- Hardened Unmanaged PoE Switches with 8-port 10/100Base-TX (-40°C ~ +75°C)

The iCON-34080 series is hardened 8-port unmanaged Ethernet switch supporting IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) on ports 1 to 4, and is classified as power source equipment (PSE). This series functions at temperature ranging from -40°C to +75°C, and meets NEMA TS1 / TS2 standard for traffic control equipment and IEC61000-6-2 EMC generic standard immunity for industrial environment. Using external 48VDC power inputs through terminal block or power jack, data and power can be transmitted to a Powered Device (PD) over the same twisted-pair Ethernet cable through port 1 to port 4 on the unit. The iCON-34080 series offers many different options, from one fiber port to two fiber ports to facilitate long-haul data transmission.

The iCON-34080L cost-effective unmanaged PoE Ethernet switches with the flexibility of eight Ethernet ports, 4 of which are PoE, come with terminal block and power-jack power inputs to match the applications that require a tough, environmentally hardened Ethernet switch. Its port 1 to port 4 on the iCON-34080L series feature IEEE802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE). Using external 48VDC power inputs through terminal block or power jack, data and power can be transmitted to a Powered Device (PD) over the same twisted-pair Ethernet cable through port 1 to port 4 on the unit. The iCON-34080L series offers many different options, from one fiber port to two fiber ports to facilitate long-haul data transmission.

“To reducing installation time and cable clutter, AXIOMTEK’s iCON-34080/34080L Power-over-Ethernet switches with the flexibility of eight Ethernet ports allow you to power up to four PoE devices from a single unit. The iCON-34080/34080L switches automatically detects 802.3af-compliant devices, and supplies power as needed. With iCON-34080/34080L PoE switch, installation of network devices such as IP surveillance cameras, wireless access points, IP phones, and other PoE enabled devices in hard-to-reach and outdoor areas is simplified,” said Philip Wei, Product Manager of Applied Computing Platforms Business Unit at AXIOMTEK.
