Power supplies meet new Level VI efficiency standards
CUI has announced the enhancement of its 90 and 120W desktop AC/DC power supply series, designed to meet the new Level VI efficiency standards. The SDI90-U and SDI120-U series' meet the more stringent average efficiency and no load power requirements set to go into effect in February 2016.
The US DOE Level VI standards aim to significantly lower the amount of power consumed when the end application is not in use or is no longer connected to the system.
The external power supplies also features a wide universal input voltage range of 90-264VAC and are available in single output voltages of 12, 15, 16, 18, 19, 24, and 48VDC depending on the series. The adapters offer UL/cUL, GS and PSE safety approvals and meet the radiated and conducted emission requirements for FCC Part 15B Class B. Additional features include PFC as well as over voltage and short circuit protections.
The SDI90-U and SDI120-U series' are available now priced from $30.24 per unit and sold in 1,000-piece quantities.
