Power supplies for harsh environments
Powersolve has just announced encapsulated AC-DC switch mode power supplies designed specifically for harsh environments. Typically these will include Security, CCTV and LED installations. For maximum applications flexibility, all units can be wall or chassis mounted and can be supplied with a wide variety of input and output cable lengths and connectors to suit the customer’s specific requirements.
Between them, the fully encapsulated, PS12/20/36MK series units provide between 10 and 36W output power at voltages from 5V to 24V DC. They operate from a wide input voltage range of 90 to 264VAC with a no load power consumption of ≤0.3W max. All units are environmentally protected to IP67, meet the safety requirements of EN60950 and are CE marked and cTUVus approved. They have an operating temperature range of -10C to +40C at full load. All models feature short circuit, over current and over voltage protection.
The PS36MK, the largest unit in the family, measures just 133 x 50 x 34mm. Other similar models up to 120W are also available. Pricing is said to be very competitive.
