Power modules deliver 500W at 92% peak efficiency
The highly efficient Qualstar N2Power branded 3 x 5 inch (76.2 x 127mm) XL500 Series (500W) is available in 12, 24 and 48V output models from Luso Electronics. The compact devices are ideal for broadcast, storage and network products with applications in the industrial, gaming and instrumentation markets that require significant power.
Delivering 500W of power and achieving up to 92% peak efficiency, the XL500 provides more power from its small footprint design than competing modules, freeing board space for other components. The new units offer a universal AC input with a built-in safeguard against any sudden drop in power (brown-out protection). Additionally, there is protection against overload, over voltage and over temperature plus a remote sense function to safely regulate the supply's output voltage.
Fully UL and CE safety certified, the power modules weigh just 460g. Supplied with a 3-year standard warranty, the power supplies can withstand up to 2G vibrations.
The XL500 joins the company’s existing XL and PL programmable power supply products that deliver a wide variety of single output voltages from 5V to 60V and 450 to 3000W.
