Two PCB power relays for solar inverters, the AZSR190 and AZSR165 series, meet performance and dimension demands, says Zettler.

The company finds that the market keeps forcing engineers to do more with less; switching more current and higher voltages on ever smaller footprint dimensions. The company has introduced the relays for solar inverter applications to its AC solar relay portfolio.

They have dimensions of only 38 x 33mm.

The AZSR190 is a one-pole relay rated for switching currents up to 90A in the standard version and 100A as high current version AZSR190T. It has a contact gap of 3.6mm, 5kV dielectric strength between coil and contact and a low holding power of only 310mW.

The AZSR165 series is the economy version of AZSR190 series for switching currents up to 65A. It has a contact gap of 3.0mm, a dielectric strength between contact and coil and features a low holding power of only 360mW. Application-oriented loads are approved at UL and TÃœV for both relays.
