Moisture-proof AC/DC power supply suits great outdoors
Mean Well unveils the OWA-90E series 90W AC/DC moistureproof external power supply, addressing the issue of current adaptors' inability to operate in moist outdoor environments.
This product is a Class II power supply. The input side exploits the 2 Pole Euro AC plug, accepting voltages of 90-264VAC. Nine models with different voltages ranging between 12 and 54VDC are offered, enabling OWA-90E to be used extensively for various kinds of applications.
With the 94V-0 level flame retardant plastic enclosure, OWA-90E is designed for IP67 protection level, effectively negating harsh outdoor environmental conditions. Potential applications include robotic lawn mowers, residential electronics and any other equipment required for operation under strenuous environmental conditions.
The circuitry design achieves working efficiency of up to 91%, and follows the latest international energy-related regulation with no load power consumption below 0.15W. The adaptor features a working temperature of -40 to +70°C, and protection against short circuit, overload, over voltage and over temperature.
The fanless design, cooled by free air convection, measures 171x63x37.5mm and is backed with a five year warranty.
